DoD’s focus has now shifted from Europe to Asia and SW Pacific. The book Dragon Days describes the extent of Islamist and Communist expansion there and how to reverse it.

As both takeover tries involve drugs and are otherwise similar, only one solution is needed. Instead of occupying nations or training armies, the Pentagon must blanket the area with tiny law-enforcement-assistance teams.

This takes more police and Unconventional Warfare (UW) ability than any U.S. grunt or special operator currently has.

Part One details the subversion.

Part Two shows what teams must know about criminal investigative procedure.

Part Three has the UW techniques to escape encirclement. As such, this book may be America’s only UW tactical-technique manual.

I wish I would have bought one of these TENS units years ago.  I have a lot of pain.  Some from complications of diabetes, but mostly from getting back into an active lifestyle after decades of inactivity and self destruction.  As soon as I plugged this device in I started to have relief from aches.  It works on specific areas in relieving muscle tension.

I have also had a good time sticking the electrodes on large muscle groups and turning it on full strength and watching my muscles twitch.

Inexpensive Home TENS

This particular unit was pretty inexpensive, and it takes standard 2mm electrodes so it is cheap to get more.  I like it because it is very intuitive and easy to use.  The manual tells where to place the electrodes, and the unit has a easy to understand interface.  Simply place the electrodes form the tens unit on the area to be stimulated, turn the dial on, press the appropriate buttons for body area and power mode and simply enjoy the relief.

I have heard of these devices being used for isometric exercise, and have used one at the chiropractor.  However, this is the first time I had been able to actually experiment with one.  I have read that TENS has recently gained FDA approval for treatment of migraine headaches, which is interesting as I have a lot of tension headaches that are only relieved by scalding hot showers.

The amount of hot water I use to stay human when these headaches hit are unsustainable from a prepper standpoint, so I have been looking for an alternative.  The next headache I get I am trying this device.

I have used it very successfully in temporary reduction of diabetic nerve pain in my feet.  I have also used it on my sore arthritic hands.

As I said, I really like this product.  I am pleased that Easy@Home gave me the opportunity to review their product.  I thank them for giving me this device in exchange for the review because I probably would never have bought it on my own and would not have had the chance to learn how useful they are.

Iron Sights AR15 Tactical 45 Degree Offset

As I said in the video, I am not used to fancy items to add to my guns.  I like plain stock workhorses that are light and robust.  However, with some recent builds I created some AR-15’s without the normal front  sight post that I am used to.  Because of this I added a BUIS (Back Up Iron Sight) to my rail.  This works in the event the batteries die on my reflex sight or I just smash it up.

I like redundancy, and this set is pretty strong.  It is much stronger than the last pop up rear sight I installed.  I like it much better.

While I do need to go shoot a lot of rounds to get used to transitioning between sights and my offset BUIS system, I like this one very much.  Aukmont did a fine job on these sights.

These sights are pretty strong and fit tightly.  This is important with sights as you don’t want them working loose under recoil.  Now I must say I did not run a large amount of rounds through these sights – only a couple hundred to get a good idea on the quality.  But I don’t see anything wrong with them.

Management of Aggressive Behavior: A Comprehensive Guide to Learning How to Recognize, Reduce, Manage, and Control Aggressive Behavior by Roland Ouellette can enable you to recognize and identify signs of aggressive behavior.

Once properly identified, you may then effectively manage this behavior.

You can learn ways to manage aggressive individuals and improve your personal safety! This paperback is more than just a book — it is a comprehensive strategy that you can use in virtually every aspect of your life.

Now that I work back in the prison, I need tools to manage behavior.  Verbal Judo, Cognitive behavior therapy and other tools are used to maintain a safe and secure prison with a minimum of force.

Management of Aggressive Behavior gives the reader some workable tools to deal with aggressive individuals.

It works well in a correction setting, but the tools will also work in a school, bar, or workplace.

Its nice to have tools other than guns to deal with situations.  I have dealt with hundreds of situations involving potential violence where I had to talk to a person, but only one where I had to draw a gun.

To me that means I should prepare much more in the mental and social skills of aggression than is commonly done.
