I just reviewed another cool product from Survival Hax. This tactical pen is my favorite product so far (and my boy really liked the survival kit.
I was looking for a pen I could take to work, but this one just won’t make into the prison I work at. It is easily considered a weapon.
Its sturdy construction, the titanium glass breaker tip, and the hidden fire starter all make this inappropriate for use in a controlled facility. – however, this hard core pen is very useful.
I keep it hanging on my rear view mirror. If I get in a wreck it can help save my life by breaking the safety glass – and if I get attacked the solid construction and sharp tip can easily be used to protect my life – It gets additional points for being a simple pen.

This is a pretty cool little EDC Keychain from Survival Hax. I have reviewed some of there stuff before, and it is perfect for the budget prepper.
The keychain is a simple paracord weave that you can unravel to get a lenght of cord, it has a whistle and an easy to use carabiner to attach it to your gear (my plan is to clip it to the rifle sling of my M6 Scout Survival Rifle.
I really like the contents of the survival kit – the knife is pretty cool and its always nice to have a means to start a fire.

I have to say while I did get this keychain for free in order to do a review, I am planning on buying another to go on my the sling of my son’s cricket rifle. (not that he will be outdoors alone, but so he and Daddy can match.

I have made this type of knot without the jig, as well as experimented with making my own jig, but this is by far the easiest method I have found. Add to it that the jig is very high quality, comes with very clear pictorial instructions, and has enough materials to make several bracelets for a very reasonable price and the speedy jig is a great tool to have in your home.
My son loves his red bracelet – he had to wear it to school for show and tell. He now wants to make more. More importantly than his liking his bracelet he liked making a paracord bracelet. We did it together, we played and goofed around, and made something useful and functional.
We could have done this without a jig, or we could have made our own jig. But balance the cost and the ease of use, and this jig really was worth it.
I have wanted a pocket chainsaw since I was a boy, It would be simple enough to buy one, but it seems I never got a round tuit, that is until Sumpri offered me a chance to review their folding pocket chainsaw and fire starter kit.
I had great plans to take this chainsaw out and throw a line over a high tree limb and use the saw with some paracord – unfortunately, when I got out to the land it started raining, and I got my truck stuck in the mud.
While a pocket chainsaw is great for a lot of things, I couldn’t use it to get unstuck (well I guess I could have cut limbs to make a timber winch or to throw under the tires). I decided to wait on the video and focus on what was important now – which was recovering my truck from the mud.
The saw was well made, and it was sharp. I found that it pulled easily (better with long strokes) and cut smoothly. The firestarter is a typical ferocerium rod – it creates hot sparks and is of normal quality. I do wish the case was a little stronger, but it was above average for these types of gear.

As I said, I really like this multi charging cable, the aluminum sheath really makes it look nice, plus it seems to give the cable some strength. I use this as my go to travel cable.
