I have reviewed several of these Jastek Multi Charging cables, at this point I do it just so I can get another set.  I love them.  I have one next to the be, in the laptop bag, in the truck, and at work.  The Aluminum Multi Charging Cable shown here, is my favorite.

The aluminum skin makes this charger sturdy, I also lover how it looks.

    for $9 you get:

    • 4-in-1 Multi-function Charger Cable: 1x USB C Cable + 1x Micro USB Cables + 2x 8pin cable(not MFI certificated)
    • Multi Charging cables at 2A Maximum charging speed;the USB cables only for charging, not support Sync Data
    • Multi USB Cable length with 3.3 feet (1M) in total, and made of Nylon braided protective layer and Aluminum alloy connector
    • Universal Use Convenience: No need to carry many cables when you are in a car, office or in traveling

As I said, I really like this multi charging cable, the aluminum sheath really makes it look nice, plus it seems to give the cable some strength.  I use this as my go to travel cable.

    #JASTEK_LED_CABLE

Like the previous multi-charging cable, I like the idea of having one cable that can charge all of my handheld devices.  Today I am going to review the 4 in 1 Multiple USB Charging Cable with LED Lighting from JASTEK.  I was invited to review this product, and did receive it at no cost in exchange for an honest review.

I got this cable because I was very happy with the colorful charger I reviewed earlier, but the colors turned me off.  I liked the features, but my OCD can’t stand the rainbow effect.

I think this one looks much more professional, and it works well.

I don’t know if I like the LED light yet, it is handy at night, but the blinking patterns are a little distracting at times.

Unlike the previous JASTEK product, this version did not have the clip at the top.  I liked the clip, but this one seems sturdier.

The big difference in the Multiple USB Charging Cable was that this version did not charge two phones at once.

This is a big difference to me, which makes me like the colorful one better because I have a work and personal phone.  However, if I only had one phone I would much prefer this one.

How to Make a Homemade Cable Snare

    Building a Homemade Cable Snare

My friend William Smith, who used to trap in Alaska and now builds very inexpensive, but quality snares.  He agreed to show me how he builds homemade cable snares.

    The Parts are Pretty simple

    • 3/32 aircraft cable
    • Sure-lock snare lock
    • Double ferrule
    • Single ferrule.

To Build a Homemade Cable Snare:

    • First, you run the cable through the sure-lock device, make a loop, and then run it back through
    • Next, lock it in place with a single ferrule on the loop end.
    • Then, run the long end of the cable through the double ferrule, loop it around, and put the free end back into the ferrule to make a loop for a swivel or to attach to the tree.

As you can see it is pretty easy to make a homemade cable snare.  When Smitty gets his shed wired so we don’t have to yell over the generator I want to show how to make a snare lock using a penny.

I plan on buying some of his snares, but before I do that, I have to get him to show me how to wax and dye them so I can actually catch some meat with them.
